Red rope orchid

This epiphytic or lithophytic orchid grows in rainforest generally over or near creeks. It has small flowers, easily overlooked.

Bulbophyllum schillerianum has fleshy succulent leaves to about 10 cm long on a creeping rhizome. The flowers are only about 6 mm long, not opening widely and are an orange red.
