Cinnamon bells, common potato orchid

Being a saprophyte, this orchid has no leaves and consists of an underground tuber. When in flower, the flower stem grows to 90 cm tall with up to 70 flowers. The flowers are tubular about 20 mm long with brown outside and white inside.

This distinctive orchid cannot be confused with any other and is easily identified by its brown tubular flowers with white inside.
