Upright maroonhood

This terrestrial orchid grows in moist forests around Brisbane.

The flower stem grows to about 35 cm tall with the flower 20 mm tall. The flower is green with some to almost totally brown.

This species can be identified by it upward facing galea (top of flower) and labellum just protruding through the sinus.
